Veneers
If your front teeth are discoloured, misshapen, or have small chips and cracks, you may benefit from dental veneers. Veneers are thin, tooth-coloured shells that are attached to the front of the teeth. They work well to hide imperfections and improve the overall appearance of the teeth.
How Are Dental Veneers Fitted?
Your dentist will remove a small portion from the front of your tooth to make space for the dental veneer. They will then take an impression of the prepared tooth and send it to the dental lab to fabricate the veneer. Once the veneer is ready, your dentist will bond it to your tooth using a special dental adhesive.
How Long Do Dental Veneers Last?
On average, dental veneers can last between 10 to 20 years. However, their durability is affected by several factors, including the level of care they receive, the type of veneers you select, your bite, and potential use of a nightguard.
