How To Use Teeth Whitening Kits

When you purchase a teeth whitening kit from our office, it will come with full instructions on how to use it. These kits generally require you to whiten your teeth for a short time every day, for at least 7 to 10 consecutive days. You should notice a gradual whitening during this time.

How Can I Avoid Tooth Discolouration?

While teeth tend to become yellow as a natural process of aging, certain foods and beverages can also prematurely stain them. If you would like to reduce staining, we recommend avoiding dark-coloured beverages, including tea and cola, and dark-coloured foods, such as berries. Brushing your teeth twice a day with a whitening toothpaste may help to reduce surface stains, but you may need to redo the whitening treatments if you have severe stains.
